Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger celebrate first wedding anniversary
Skater Boy singer has been gushing on Twitter about the 17 carat emerald ring her husband surprised with to mark the occasion
AVRIL Lavigne is one happy wife.
She and Chad Kroeger have just celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
To make sure the day was extra special for his other half, the Nickleback frontman surprised her with a stunning ring.
"I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift," Avril tweeted.
"A 17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby."

The couple started dating back in March 2012, just two months after Avril split from Kim Kardashian's step-star Brody Jenner.
She and Chad grew close while working together on her fifth studio album and pretty quickly became an item.
Just one month into their relationship, Chad popped the question and a smitten Avril and the pair were married less than a year later.
Now, it sounds as though the happily married couple won't be waiting too long before starting a family.
"We both want (children)," Chad told People.
"We just need to find a time we're both at home to get around to it
