The Wire actor Anwan Glover stabbed in Washington night club
THE Wire actor Anwan Glover was stabbed in a Washington D.C night club in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The HBO star - who plays Slim Charles in the crime drama - was involved in an altercation while supporting a band at a gig in his hometown.
Anwan - who recently appeared in box-office hit 12 Years a Slave - was stabbed while trying to defend himself during the fight with two strangers at Cafe Asia.
He was punched and hit on the back of the head and repeatedly kicked on the floor.
Big G was rushed to hospital and treated for a laceration but he insists he's on the road to recovery.
